At Humanscale, sustainability isn’t an option—it’s our responsibility. Today, we’re proud to share a major milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainable manufacturing: Humanscale is now the first in our industry to have solar power contributing energy at every one of our manufacturing facilities. 

With the completion of a new solar installation at our Nogales, Mexico factory, all of our production sites now harness solar energy to help power their operations—reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and lowering our carbon footprint. This achievement sets a new benchmark for eco-friendly manufacturing in the commercial furniture industry. 

Our New Jersey and Dublin factories have been generating solar power for years. Now, with Nogales online, every Humanscale facility is contributing to our clean energy efforts. The Nogales installation now generates [XX]% of the factory’s energy needs from solar. Across our sites, the renewable energy we produce is equivalent to powering 149 homes for a full year—and that impact will continue to grow.

Setting a New Standard for Renewable Energy in Manufacturing 

Manufacturing is traditionally energy-intensive, but at Humanscale, we’re proving that it doesn’t have to be. By integrating solar power across all our factories, we’re reducing emissions, investing in renewable energy, and demonstrating what responsible manufacturing can look like. 

While solar doesn’t yet meet 100% of our energy needs, this achievement marks significant progress toward a cleaner future—one that aligns with the values of our customers, partners, and employees.
