In this presentation, Humanscale’s Global Director of Lighting Shane Cohen discusses how task-ambient lighting schemes can boost worker comfort and productivity while promoting energy and cost savings. Cohen explores the inefficiency of single-component lighting schemes and the complex relationship between lighting and human performance in office settings.

Dominic Harris shares his inspirations and draws from his previous work, such as the UFO over Rio and the London Eye Mood Conductor, to discuss colour, movement in lighting and human interaction with lighting. In addition, he talks about emerging lighting technology and how it will be used in the future.
