DIRECTIONS FOR CHANGE IN THE DESIGN OF THE WORKPLACE
The 21st century has changed the way people work. So the design of the workplace must change, too.
Information technology has challenged the conventions of workplace design. Work is no longer contained to the office building. The office is becoming a networked environment that can—and must—support mobile workers. That means the design of the physical office space must be re-considered and re-valued.
How should organizations now approach workplace design? How can the design add value to the business and the well-being of the user? How can the design of the workplace be assessed? Andrew Laing will share how modern and innovative thinking can be applied to workplace strategy and design, and how and why it relates to overall business performance.
