Learn to conduct competent ergonomic assessments with Humanscale Consulting's two-day Train the Trainer Program in Office Ergonomics.
 
   Day 1: Introduction to Office Ergonomics
  • Understand the link between workplace design, employee health and human performance
  • Learn to identify and mitigate the postural risks associated with prolonged computer use
  • Apply ergonomics research to the evaluation and configuration of key workstation components including task seating, sit to stand applications, multiple monitor environments, alternative input devices and task lighting
  • Understand the potential cost savings associated with the implementation of a proactive ergonomics program
 
   Day 2: Conducting effective ergonomic assessments
  • Understand the key components of successful ergonomic assessments
  • Learn advanced techniques for delivering employee education, affecting behavioral change and achieving postural improvement
  • Gain familiarity with the assessment process through several role play exercises and group activities
  • Learn to document your work and make cost effective workstation enhancements

COEE Technical Certification (optional)

Humanscale Consulting offers a technical certification in office ergonomics for those interested in demonstrating proficiency on the ergonomic assessment process. Attendees who achieve a passing score on the online examination are awarded the designation 'Certified Office Ergonomics Evaluator'.

Kelly Wilson, MS holds a master of science in Human Factors and Ergonomics from Cornell University and an undergraduate degree in Commercial Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Kelly has experience as a practicing ergonomist for a Fortune 500 company, and at Humanscale has assisted organizations with the development of robust ergonomic programs.
