New York, June 28, 2007 — A selection of innovative Humanscale products will soon be featured in The Dream Home, a functioning residential showcase home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The project, officially titled The Dream Home; Evolution in Design and Technology, is designed to introduce the latest environmentally friendly and technologically advanced products to the Southwestern market in one enclosed setting.
The Freedom chair, Saddle seat, Liberty chair, and the M7 Monitor Arm are a few of the Humanscale products that will be showcased in The Dream Home. These products were selected not only for their performance, but also for their green qualities and Humanscale’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
“Humanscale has some of the most innovative and intelligent products for office systems,” says TDH project creator Cara Leigh. “I also believe that Humanscale products translate from contract to residential, and with more people having ‘home’ careers, it just makes good sense for them to know about Humanscale.”
The Dream Home will be featured in many design-focused publications in the coming months. The home will also participate in two major public events: the Santa Fe Haciendas Parade of Homes Show and Santa Fe Design Week, which are scheduled for August and October, respectively. Together, these events are expected to draw more than 7,000 people.
