Humanscale’s Tim Au-Yeung Awarded Barry Carroll Sales Professional of the Year Award

Talented Humanscale Employee Earns Prestigious Honor within First Year in New Role

NEW YORK, October 5, 2011 — ARIDO announced Tim Au-Yeung of Humanscale as the winner of the coveted Barry Carroll Sales Professional of the Year Award at their annual Awards Gala on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. A graduate of Ryerson University’s School of Interior Design program and a practicing interior designer for the past 13 years, award recipient Au-Yeung became an A&D Representative for Humanscale in Toronto just within the past year.

Named in memory of an important member of the Ontario interior design community, the Barry Carroll Sales Professional of the Year Award recognizes the best sales professional in the industry, as selected by his or her peers. The awarded individual must be generally recognized as someone who surpasses the demands of his or her practitioners, employer and clients,  demonstrating extreme professionalism under—and extensive knowledge of—the pressures of the industry.

In addition to his work with Humanscale, he has been a tireless volunteer on many ARIDO committees and was the President of the GTA ARIDO Chapter from 2009 to 2011. The finalists for the Barry Carroll Sales Professional of the Year Award also included Mahesh Babooram, InterfaceFLOR; Sauna Dart, Olympia Title and Escrow Corporation; Peter Llyod, Odyssey Wallcoverings; and Cynthia Perne, Olympia Title and Escrow Corporation.
