M2 Monitor Arm Receives iF Product Design Award

Revolutionary Monitor Arm Scores Praise from International Forum Design

NEW YORK, November 24, 2009 — Humanscale’s M2 monitor arm received an iF product design award from International Forum Design’s 56th-annual iF design awards. Universally recognized as an endorsement of excellent design, the iF product design award is the latest addition to the M2’s growing list of industry awards and accolades.

Judged by an international jury of 25 design experts, the iF awards evaluate products based on criteria that include design quality, design innovation, environmental impact, functionality, ergonomics, and more. The iF product design award represents a “seal of outstanding design” and recognizes products that offer the greatest contribution to the field of design.

The M2’s advanced engineering promises to revolutionize the dynamic monitor arm category. Utilizing a high-performance mechanical spring—instead of a bulky, failure-prone gas cylinder—the M2 offers dynamic adjustability in an ultra-slim and eco-conscious design.

Offering a remarkably long serviceable life, the M2 is backed by Humanscale’s 15-year 24/7 warranty. Made of 52% recycled and 99% recyclable materials—including significant use of 100% recycled aluminum—the M2 can contribute to a number of valuable LEED credits.

The M2’s already-long list of awards for superior product design include a Best of NeoCon Gold, a Product Innovations Awards Grand Prize from Buildings Magazine, a ‘Focus in Silver’ award from Focus Open 2009, and the Best Ergonomic Solution distinction at Mixology09.
