New York, June 12, 2008 — Humanscale’s NeatLinks is a Grand Prize Winner in the Computer Solutions category in Buildings Magazine’s 2008 Product Innovation Awards. The award recognizes the new cable management system as one of the most innovative solutions to today’s facilities challenges. Buildings will feature NeatLinks in the October 2008 issue and on the publication’s website.
Designed to house and route cables, power strips and ballasts (bricks), NeatLinks protect technology investments and keep wires off the floor to promote a more organized workspace. Designed by the award-winning Humanscale Design Studio, NeatLinks can be mounted effortlessly—in any direction, to almost any surface—with just two screws or double-sided tape. The curved, finger-friendly angle at the end of each NeatLinks channel simplifies installation with screws and provides visual access to the items concealed within. The ability to quickly mount NeatLinks and route its contents saves time and money otherwise spent on a potentially complicated installation.
The NeatLinks channels are larger than traditional cable management systems to better accommodate and organize the multiple cables, power strips and ballasts needed regularly in office environments. Each unit is available in 17- or 24-inch lengths and with two diameters—2.6 inches to hold cables alone or 3.6 inches to accommodate bulkier power strips and ballasts.
Available in gray or black to complement any office environment, each NeatLinks unit carries a list price of $19 – $23. Designed with the environment in mind, NeatLinks and the washers used for screw installations are made of 100% recyclable ABS. The device also contains up to 50% post-consumer recycled content.
